This month (September) cartoons. Cartoons are very simple and fun images. You can use a simple program like Windows Paint, select the fill tool, and pretty easily color these images. They can add a bit of sparkle to your web page. Help yourself to these free cartoon images. Have fun with them and let your imagination go! If you have never taken an image from a web page before it's very easy. Just click below for simple instructions.

A couple of sample images in color are included to give you some ideas. They were all created simply by using a graphics program "paint bucket" tool. Note These are TRANSPARENT .Gif files. If you use them on a web page, the page background color will show around the images.

Most of you will be able to put these pictures on your system very easily. You just have to drag the mouse cursor onto whichever picture you want and click the right mouse button. A small menu will then appear on your screen. Drag the mouse icon down the menu to highlight the menu item that says "Save the image as". A directory dialog box will appear. The directory that your browser has already set up for downloads appears near the top of the box. Remember this name because that is where the image is going on your computer. Click on the OK button. That's it. The image is now in that directory. If you need more help ask your parents or a friend.
