MARK A. JOHNSON TRIBAL ART
TRIBAL
ART FROM ASIA AND THE WESTERN PACIFIC ISLANDS

Thank you for visiting my website and please take time to view the online GALLERY for selected examples from my extensive inventory of Tribal Art from Asia and the Western Pacific. Beginning in the mid 1970’s, I have traveled throughout many areas of Asia, especially the exotic islands of Indonesia. I specialize in the traditional arts and artifacts of Borneo, Sulawesi, Sumatra, Timor, Bali, Java, and most of the other island cultures in the region. In addition to Insular Southeast Asia, I have objects from China, Central Asia, the Philippines, Burma (Myanmar), Nagaland, Indochina, Formosa (Taiwan), and the Himalayas. Be assured that all of the objects offered are of high quality, authentic, and guaranteed as described. Be sure to check out other interesting features including the travelogues, exhibitions, and research guide links.
